Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Customer Service Representative to assist our clients with their current payroll inquiries. Works as a liaison between our clients and their current payroll platform.

The Payroll Customer Service Representative interacts with clients to answer routine inquiries about products and services, resolve general complaints, and assist with payroll-related issues. Responsibilities include addressing employer questions about payroll, helping with report generation, and supporting end-to-end payroll processing. Ideal candidates should be comfortable with numbers and possess strong customer service skills, ensuring accurate information is provided to clients.


Education and Experience

Associate’s degree (or other 2-year degree)
High School Diploma 



Duties and Responsibilities

This role serves as a liaison between the clients and the payroll service provider, ensuring effective communication and smooth payroll processing.  Here are the key duties of this position:
 
  • Communication Facilitation: Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the payroll service provider. This includes addressing inquiries, relaying information, and ensuring both parties are aligned on expectations and requirements.
  • Problem Resolution: Address any discrepancies or issues that arise in the payroll process. Act as the intermediary to resolve issues efficiently and communicate resolutions back to the client.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Provide the client with reports generated by the payroll service, such as pay stubs, tax filings, and other payroll-related documentation. Ensure that these reports meet the client’s needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Support: Assist the client with understanding payroll processes, software, and systems. Provide support in using payroll tools or resources, if necessary.


Other duties and responsibilities:
  • Responding to client inquiries related to payroll in a timely and accurate manner
  • Compiling and preparing reports and documents pertaining to payroll, 401K and Health benefits
  • Maintaining confidentiality of payroll operations and related records
  • Make calls to our clients and setup appointments for payroll service evaluations


Qualifications:
 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills English and Spanish
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Familiarity with payroll process is a plus
